7) Almonds and Raisins

This shop is round by the side of the City Library on an upper deck. This is a health food shop where I get stuff like my bread buns and fruit juice and other goodies.

8) Pigeons

This is taken just outside the Library in an area called Princess Square. If you notice it too is on an upper level over the roadway. The pigeons are typical of the kind of bird that inhabits city centres in the British Isles.

9) Big Issue Seller

The Big Issue is a magazine which is sold by people who are classified as homeless. They buy copies of the magazine for 40 pence per issue, and sell them for £1.40. So 60p goes to the vendor. It is almost like a franchise operation, as the vendors must have a badge to sell them. Any vendor who is a nuisance can have his badge withdrawn. The particular vendor in shot is called "Chunky" and it is from him that I regularly buy my copy. It was taken outside the Monument entrance of the Eldon Square Shopping Centre. 10) Entrance to Grainger Market

Grainger market is the principal indoor market in Newcastle upon Tyne. Where you can get all manner of goods. Open Monday to Saturday from about 07:00 to 17:00 (Although some stall holders may not open so early, or they may close early) The link to the official site

11) Inside Grainger Market I

On the right of the picture in the distance is the Butchers stall where I buy my meat. Beyond that the fruit and vegetable stall that I go to, also run owned by the same butcher.

12) Inside Grainger Market II

In this isle are stalls selling fruit and veg, and stall selling other items. Note the roof Architecture.
